James McClure

James McClure has published more than 40 research papers on topics that include transport phenomena, artificial intelligence, and applications of parallel and distributed computing. He supports Mission Systems Division on several projects, including quantum computing and network testbeds for satellite communication.
McClure's research work focuses on software co-design, parallel and distributed computing, non-equilibrium thermodynamics and complex materials.
McClure earned his Ph.D. in environmental sciences and engineering from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
