AEOP/ARO First Meet & Greet

On Thursday, July 19, 2018 our Virginia Tech Department of Physics hosted a meet-and-greet between its undergraduate University Research Apprenticeship Program (URAP), run by Professors Uwe Tauber and Michel Pleimling, and the UNITE High School enrichment program with personnel from the U.S. Army Educational Outreach Program, Jennifer Ardouin and Sara Munro. The Physics University Research Apprenticeship Program allows undergraduate students from Virginia Tech and other institutions to participate in frontline research funded by the U.S. Arm Research Office (ARO) over the summer. It was a great success and we hope that this will become an annual event!
